NOPSI’s lighting design supports the transformation of a former public utility building into a hotel while honoring the goals of historic preservation. Working within existing fixture locations, the design maintains the building’s established rhythm and character while improving performance and visual comfort. Historic fixtures were replicated and customized to integrate modern lighting technology, enabling multi-function lighting from a single source that serves both ambience and practical needs.
