Duke Energy Center’s facade lighting was developed as one of the first large-scale color-changing installations on the East Coast, giving the tower a bold, event-ready nighttime identity. Close collaboration with the design and construction team ensured the facade and lighting were conceived as a single integrated system, not an add-on. Multiple mockups and detailed coordination helped refine optics, placement, and finishes to achieve the intended effect from key viewpoints. The result is a clean, vibrant facade expression with reliable performance and seamless control.
