The Coeur d'Alene Tribe has a rich ancestral history of storytelling, connection to the Palouse landscape and Lake Coeur d'Alene. Lighting throughout the resort reinforces cultural elements: the stars of the night sky; the "coyote scratches" of legend that formed the landscape; the weaving tradition; the connection to the land.

The cultural elements are showcased through lighting elements that tell stories and enhance the architectural and landscape design that embrace the project's site and the tribe's history. The project is certified LEED Gold.
