As a designer, Abdi is enthusiastic about the way the built environment and public space inform social interaction, the way we live, and how it can reflect a society and its cultural values. He is interested in how lighting design can bring people together and shape community.

 

Abdi earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a minor in Spanish from Washington State University.
